The
Skill Development Safaris follow a similar theme of a board game
journey to learn a particular set of behaviors that will increase
productivity. As the activity begins, the participants brainstorm which
business behaviors will most benefit their work environment and then set out
to find them as indicated on the map. Each turn brings progress and new
choices for the group.

Lion About:
Team Development Safari (4 hours)
Donning pith helmets and bush coats, the participants select characteristics
of a high-performing team that they want to learn and "trek" through the
varied terrain of East Africa to acquire these skills. The participants must
discuss and decide which team values are most needed for their work group
before planning the strategy to accomplish the task. After each "day’s"
travel, chance and change bring new challenges for the team to solve.

planning, working as one team, team coordination, characteristics of
emotional intelligence
Star Light Success:
New Market Development Safari (4 hours)
The galaxy is open as a new market for your business. How fast and how far
will your business team choose to expand your share of this vast new market.
Participants must discuss and agree on a business plan, then implement it to
test its effectiveness. Each passing "day" brings new challenges and new
choices for the team to solve.

New Moon Phases:
Organizational Structure Development Safari (4 hours)
The government of the Lunar Colony has invited your company to relocate to
the Moon. Is this a golden opportunity to change the company’s
infrastructure or a disaster in a dream’s disguise. The participants must
discuss and decide on a course of action to present to the Board of
Directors. The Lunar Colony government has offered to custom build offices,
systems, and production facilities. If you had the chance to set the
business up from scratch, based on current experience, what would be
different?
